Founder and CEO: Dr Christopher T M Clack, PhD, BSc (Hons), FRAS, FEAS

Dr Clack is the CEO of Vibrant Clean Energy (VCE^®), the company that he founded to push the forefront of system planning, optimization, and modeling to address the intelligent transformation of the electric and energy system to meet the needs of the 21^st century. With a PhD in applied mathematics and plasma physics from the University of Sheffield, Dr Clack is an expert in mathematics, statistics and optimization. He combines this expertise with numerical weather prediction, electrical engineering and economics to study future energy systems. Dr Clack and his team at VCE^® created and utilize the WIS:dom^® optimization model to investigate various future energy systems that includes high penetration levels of renewables, electrification of end uses, new advanced and novel technologies, and climate change resilience.

Director of Operations: Sarah McKee, MSc, BSc (Hons)

Sarah has been with VCE^® since the start of the company in 2016 and acts as the Director of Operations. She has a varied career background and gained her MSc in Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield, UK. She then worked as Managing Technical Writer and Editor for the European Respiratory Society in Sheffield. In 2010, Sarah moved to Colorado and started her own business creating and designing custom wedding dresses. Using the experience gained from running her own business, Sarah joined VCE^® to help get the business and up and running.

Senior Energy Data Analyst: Brianna Cote, BSc

Brianna Cote is the Senior Energy Data Analyst at VCE^®. She has a duel degree in Meteorology and Applied Mathematics. She has over 7 years of experience working in operational/commercial renewable energy forecasting. Further, she has worked as a project manager overseeing multi-million dollar field deployments for renewable energy asset research and operations. More recently, she has spent time closer to energy markets and trading within ISOs across the United States. Anywhere combining energy and meteorology is where she finds her passion professionally. Anywhere traveling with a camera and outdoors is her passion personally.

Energy Data Analyst: Amanda Lococo, MSc, BSc

Amanda Lococo is an Energy Data Analyst at VCE^®. She completed her MSc in Applied Mathematics with an emphasis in data analysis at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her thesis work involved analyzing solar irradiance data where she developed an algorithm that determines the ideal spacing between solar panels for providing more stable energy to the power grid. She is passionate about renewables and energy research and enjoys being able to continuously learn in these fields. Her favorite hobbies include drawing, reading, and studying Japanese culture.
